Basically the title. Is there a way to change the hyphen or remove the hyphen from the automatic naming when plotting drawings?
We need the drawing number for a client's file system to be just HG-41980-00-CX-DKP-0001_01 not with the hyphen before _01 it needs to be the underscore. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove that hyphen or change it to a underscore? Thank you
You can always run a batch rename utility like this one in Windows to select all PDFs to rename
the actual drawing file name is HG-41980-00-CX-DKP-0001. the layout tab name is _01 per client request. But in my screenshot as you can see it puts a hyphen between the 0001 and _01 making the drawing pdf nam eHG-41980-00-CX-DKP-0001-_01 but thank you i will try the batch rename utility.

Thanks for sharing the details: AutoCAD is designed to add the hyphen between the file name and the layout name, it is not a user option to remove sadly.
