Hi,

>> but i cant see horizontal hatch <<

This is NOT hatch pattern, this is Linetype called BATTING.there is a lot of reason for this issue and since we don't have the CAD file i suggest to check the scale for this linetype.also REGEN command will make difference when use such a linetype.

Note:

it will be more easy to give a solution if you post a piece of your drawing file.

Hi,

>> its visible in autocad 2016 but its not OK in 2017

Can you please upload the drawing? IN the screenshot we see some pixels, but can't select what object type that really is ...

Everything else is guessing and may take days to get valuable information.

Hi,

I can see both, vertical and horizontal hatches (partially parts of blocks), in 2016 as well as in 2017.

However it seems to be not the same drawing as you have shown in your screenshot (e.g. I can't find the text "E-45-B-I" you have shown in the screenshot).

But it could be possible that you don't miss all horizontal objects ... as there are so many objects it is hard to compare. Next time please upload a drawing only with very few objects, just to see the difference. Having thousands of objects makes it difficult to find one specific object that might be missing.

First chance: update your AutoCAD 2017. Current state is update 1.1, when you start command _ABOUT, verify that values:

Hi,

>> i send u my version of autocad.please help.its very confusing

You are not on the current version, you internal build number is "104" while "301" is the current one (today) ... please install AutoCAD 2017 Update 1.1, either using the Autodesk Desktop App or by using the subscription center ==> updates (>>>click<<<) ==> download and install it.

Do you have the H1INSUN1 hatch pattern (*.pat) on your machine? It must be in the AutoCAD search paths in Options/Files for AutoCAD to use it

If you don't have it in the seach path the preview in the hatch dialog will only be a box with a red line through it. When I try to hatch with H1INSUN1 it appears to work but when I check the command line history it says, "Unknown pattern name" because the hatch pattern definition isn't on my machine.

My guess ... yes, otherwise he would miss all hatches (vertical and horizontal ones, not just one direction) 😉

Hi @Anonymous,

I extracted the PAT file from your drawing. I am able to apply it to other drawings without issue although I am guessing that it might be better and easier to use a linetype instead.

Regardless, when I looked at the hatch inside your drawing I found that it was frequently inside a block which doesn't make sense to me. Can you give me more detail on how you are using this pattern file (attached)?

Hi,

Two additional ideas:

  • disable hardware acceleration (command _GRAPHICSCONFIG)
  • reset your AutoCAD profile to default (>>>click<<<).

And when you now bind the XRef and _EXPLODE it?

Dear

I see it was a while ago that this was answered.
I also had to look for something, but it is fairly simple.
You must create a folder wherever on your PC and set that autocad should also look there.
Here you can place all downloaded or homemade 'pat' files.
You follow the installation examples on the following website.
http://www.cadhatch.com/home/4588167678
