invalid drawing file

hi
if I save a new file, even with a simple content, and pass it to a collaborator on another computer, the file does not open and the message is: "invalid drawing file".
I tried exporting it to dxf but nothing changes. Any file that comes out of my autocad does not open on other computers.

I have an AutoCAD teacher license on window 11, and the program is updated as of today.

how can I do?!

Ask him about the used Program Name and Version!

I guess this program don't know about your used file format (.dwg/.dxf2018 can't read of a .2013 or older interface)

Their program cannot read any file type you create: what program and year version of that program are they using?

And how are you delivering the program? Perhaps that is a factor too?

You and collaborators should enter at AutoCAD command prompt the About command then do screenshots and posts them here for us to take a look at the differences. You can also see the version differences and either perform a SaveAs and select a different dwg format to match collaborators computers or download and install for free Dwg Trueview to convert the dwg to match collaborators dwg version

The versions of autocad we are using are all 2024 updated. The dwg saving format I tried is both 2018 and 2013.

I noticed that my files on my computer can only be opened from the "last opened" menu, from start of my autocad.
If I click twice on the saved file, Autocad starts and then gives me the message "invalid drawing file"

Thanks for the About screenshot which tells us your version which saves 2018 dwg format by default. Now ask your collaborators to do the same and provide you with the screenshot so you can share with us here as well. But if they’re using like AutoCAD 2017 then they won’t be able to read 2018 dwg format. Best way around to batch convert multiple dwg formats is Dwg Trueview

Sounds like you may have another program associated to dwg files. Try following solutions to associate dwg with 2024

The versions of my collaborators are autocad 2024 with latest update.

I tried opening libraries downloaded from the internet and they opened fine.

Then there should be no problems opening since everyone is running 2024. Share one of your problem dwgs your collaborators cannot open here. Or perhaps your collaborators 2024 dwg association has the same problem as yours. Then in that case resolve with the solution I posted for you already

It is with pleasure that I solved, the problem of the pendrive where I saved the files to pass them to my collaborators, using a cloud is solved.
