Internal error: !dbAnnoScaleCompositionReactori.cpp@1413: eInvalidIndex

I've encountered few times: Internal error: !dbAnnoScaleCompositionReactori.cpp@1413: eInvalidIndex

It is one drawing causing this problem, unfortunately I can't share it. I have tried to repair it but nothing from this troubleshooting topic seems to work. After few hours it is working as usual.

I'm using CADWorx 2015 on AutoCAD 2015.

What is the root of this problem? What can I do to prevent it from happening again?

Hi,

does the same happen if you run AutoCAD without the application CadWorx loaded?

What happens when you use _COPYBASE and _PASTECLIP to copy the whole content of your current model-space geometry into a new drawing ... do you then get hte same message in the new drawing?

>> What is the root of this problem?

I can only guess that reactors are working not finding an object that is referenced by index. that can be a defect object or a defect code from the development.

The only one who can tell you the exact reason needs your drawing + the source code to have the option to run in debug-mode and catch the error position.

It's working properly on other machine. Only this works for now.

Hi,

>> It's working properly on other machine

Then I guess you need to find the differences between these 2 systems.

  • Version and service pack of AutoCAD and CadWorx
  • profile/settings of AutoCAD
  • Version and service pack of operating system
  • Version and service pack of graphic card and driver

An option is always to create a new Windows user and work with that context and see if the error again happens. Then you know if it's specific to your workstation or to your user profile.

Good luck, - alfred -

Here's what i do: batch commands using "Batch in Database" app and save file. Just after that I can't open DWG because Internal Error. Repairing, recovering, audit, converting etc. doesn't help. DWG seems fine because it works on other machine. There is one major difference between them: my is Windows 7 working one is Windows 10.

This isn't really a solution, but it allows me to finish my work.

Thanks for Your help @Alfred.NESWADBA
