Interface scaling issues when switching between 1440p 125% zoom monitor to 1080p 100% zoom monitor

This happens with every autodesk app, Autocad, Inventor, Naviswork...

I am using two different monitor, my main one is 1440p, the second is 1080p. Because 1440p is too small, I zoom in 125%, which happens to be equivalent in interface size to 1080p 100%. Almost every software I use work perfectly when I drag it from one screen to the other. The interface scales properly and is not blurry.

But, with every autodesk app, the interface becomes blurry on one of the screens. If I activate the "Fix scaling for apps" in the Windows 10 "Advanced scaling settings", the interface is fine on the main 1440p screen. If I disable it, the interface is fine on the 1080p screen. I can, under the compatibility options, force it in one way or the other, but not have it adapt depending on the screen like every other software seem to automatically.

Then, through the compatibility troubleshooter, I arrived to this screen

After testing it, what it did was basically remove the zoom scaling to keep the interface from becoming blurry. The problem is that now my autocad is ALWAYS in 125% zoom, in both screens, so way too big in the 1080p screen. The next problem is that after enabling that option through the troubleshooter, I am unable to disable it. So autocad is stuck in 125% zoom for both screens.

I did the same troubleshoot process with Naviswork, but for some unknown reasons, it is stuck at 100% scaling in both screens... so way too small in my 1440p screen. Again, unable to disable whatever the troubleshooter changed.

Google is completely clueless on any of these issues, and I am scared to try anything with Inventor as it is my main software, and is at least scaling properly on both screen, although blurry on my 1080p monitor.

I really need help, and windows forum just spam the same useless copy paste guides.

No experience with scaling the various applications like you're describing - sounds like a very complicated solution. Have you tried just setting your 1440p screen to a 1080p resolution and leaving all your windows and applications set to the default 100%? I'd suggest that, as it's a single setting at the hardware level rather than all that handshaking you're having to do between your OS and the various applications with the zoom settings.

the reason I am not using 1080p on a 1440p screen is because a 1440p screen is made for 1440p. So 1080p looks blurry period. 1440p at 125% zoom is much crisper than 1080p 100%. So yes, I need a way to fix what is not working with autodesk softwares.

Both your monitors need to be identical with Autodesk software to avoid the issues you are noticing. Sorry, that's just the way it is. You can tell Autodesk all about it here for future fixes https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

Workarounds are what you discovered and is being suggested.
