In my world we can not have our CAD stations using the cloud at all.
There are actually areas of the facility that have CAD terminals with disabled USB ports and no internet access at all.
So I have to do everything I can to disable our CAD packages from reaching out on their own.
I am developing my upgrade from 2014 to 2017 and am seeing some differences in what I did several years ago during the 2014 install.
I search the setup.ini files for instances of ADSYNC to get ride of them first.
So in the 2017 ini file I find the following:
Unlike in 2014, I only find adsync mentioned once in the ini file
This is the area where it appears that ADSYNC is defined itself.
In this area there is an ACTION=INSTAll line.
So I am wondering if there is some other argument besides INSTALL that I can use that would just prevent ADSYNC from being defined and used in the first place.
So at the moment I have installed 2017 on my workstation to develop the upgrade.
When install it I told it NOT to install 360 by deselecting the options shown below:
However, 360 menu is still showing up in menus.
So not only do I need 360 to not be functional, I would also like to remove it from my interface all together.
So how do I make it so that the 360 menu is not there?

Hi @tahdesign1,
While you can remove the desktop version I don't believe that it is possible to remove the in-product version.
I suppose you could remove the menu using the CUI editor but the commands will likely still be functional for a crafty user.
Perhaps you can set up a block at the firewall to prevent this from working.

No your answer told me I could not do as I need to do.
Where as pendean reply at least gave me some resources to try and get ride of this.
We need a method to not have 360 involved in our design software at all.
Hi @tahdesign1,
In what discipline do you work? Certain AutoCAD features (thinking GEO) will not work without this connection. I am also not convince that the methods described in this thread or your other one actually remove the feature but merely take it off the menu.
If I have time in the next few days I will try to do a Sandbox install with this methods to see if it can really be removed.
Also, I am curious how your licensing is configured for this lab. Are your workstations connecting to an internal license server? If not, you might have additional issues in not connecting to the Internet.
Until this year all of our licenses were standalone perpetual.
I have now moved them to networked perpetual and they will authorize to a local license server.
We are not making maps (geo).
We make mechanical/electrical machine designs for producing our products.
We have no need or it is allowed for our design products to reach out to the cloud in any way.
If I can not remove it then i must hide it in such a way that most user will not see it.
