Good day everyone.
I am having a hard time inserting northing and easting coordinates, and I am having to do it manually. I am curious if anyone knows how to insert them and where it looks more professional. I am attaching an example of one I am currently working on, and I will have to dress them up so they look presentable with a leader or something; I just think it would be faster if AutoCAD had a a way to do it with a command just to speed up my drawing process.
Thank you all for your time
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
WIthout seeing how your drawing is set up, I am making some assumptions here.
I would make a block with fields linked to the coordinates of the point. Attach the block to an mleader. If you want to attach a sample drawing I can try to mock this up for you.
The fields would automatically update as points get moved. (With a regen)

Thank you very much for your response and I am assuming that you would like to attach a .dwg file, and I apologize at front for my ignorance. If that Is the case I would love to and if you could show me how to do such thing I would very much appreciate your guidance.
Thank you very much and wish you a great day.

Hi Jeff,
Since your points are not actually located in real world coordinates (which is fine) the fields solution will only report where they are located in the drawing. One could certainly build a formula to do some math from the real world location to dwg location so the field displays properly but this might be more work than you want to deal with.
So, as an alternative, I created a block with an attribute for Easting and one for Northing. I then created a mleader style that uses this block.
I have attached this in a sample drawing for you. I hope this gets you closer to what you need.

Thank you very much I will use it.
Thank you very much I will use it.
You could try DIMORDINATE, setting your UCS origin to the necessary point.
