I am trying to put an architectural seal onto my title block. It has proxy letters that will not open in Autcad LT.
Is it possible to get it into LT?

Uhm...l have no idea what you mean by 'proxy letters'.  If not text elements, how are they created?

"Proxy" in Acad refers to an object created by a vertical application, that can only be viewed if either the original application, or an Object Enabler for that application is installed on a machine.  Civil3D Surfaces being one example -- If I send a file with a C3D Surface object to someone who does not have the correct C3D OE installed, they won't see it, until they install the OE.

Hi @cdbobo17,

Are these letters following a curve? I suspect they were created using a Express Tool in AutoCAD!

I have not found a great way to fix this other than to erase just the letters and re-create  them manually.  If you would like to attach a sample file I can perhaps take a look for you and outline the process.

Another option would be to obtain a JPG, TIFF, or PDF from the original file and insert or attach it to your titleblock. I find the first option to be better long term.

AutocadLt does not have express tools, arctext.
Since I still have AutoCAD Student version, I was able to use Arctext to recreate the Proxy Items

I though I had it worked out. I erased the original proxy letters around the arc & replaced them using arctex in autocad, but when I inset the block into LT, the same thing happens. I guess that they are still proxy.
