Insert palette missing browse button

Hello. I just got a new computer at work and everything got transferred over from my old computer to my new one, including AutoCAD 2021 that I was working on. One item I noticed is when inserting a block using the new insert command with the palette, noticed the button is missing where I browse for the block I want to insert. Didn't have this issue on my old computer and was wondering how to get this back on the palette? See image attached as to how it looks. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

>> noticed the button is missing

You'll find the browse button inside the "Libraries palette", not in the "Current Drawing"-tab.

That was a change they made in 2021. You now have to go through the Libraries tab to browse for blocks. Here is some more info: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/ENU/AutoC...

Thanks for informing me of the move (that I really dislike). Really wish Autodesk would stop changing things that work to something else that really doesn't or more cumbersome. Back to "classic insert" for me.

I hear you. I still want my text icons back for the status bar!

I find the library method to be slow loading on my computer.

I try to move on and use the new tools, but I have seen several people who like to use the CLASSICINSERT command to use the old school dialog box.

Amen to that. At least we *can* revert back to the 'classic' methods in most cases.

I have yet to figure out why the UI/UX team thinks something slower is better?

Amen to that too! Although we'll never see that one return unfortunately.

Agree with you on that status bar. Thank god I know the keyboard command (F7, F10, etc) for the ones I use the most, which is what I typically use now.

I still have it after migrating from 20 to 22. We installed 21 on another computer and it's totally gone. Maybe it stays when it's migrated? Sometimes? Only on Thursdays?

It even shows up on every single tab. Here's what my Libraries tab looks like:

We are using 2021 and some of us have it and some don't. We all installed from a deployment. Very frustrating!
