Inputting Line with Relative coordinates

I am trying to input a line with relative coordinates, such as, 4'10"<0 degrees. I cannot go any further because this is what I get: "point or option keyword is required". 1) It can't be the "point" as the first point was already selected.  2) Line/Coordinates are correct. 3) What "keyword" are they asking for???

Hi @Anonymous,

Try using it this way:

Pick your start point, then @(distance)<

so @10'<23

Of course if you have Dynamic Input turned on you can simply enter the values in the boxes that pop up next to your cursor. DYNMODE=3

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

Check that your units are set to Architectural.  If not, ACAD doesn't understand feet and inches.

That's what it was. I guess it's better to double check to make sure all parameters are correct before you go on to the next step. Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it.
