Importing a DXF File

Hi, so i am importing DXF files to update jobs and stuff. But when i do the dimensions that come up are very small. I was wondering if i can have a default that everytime i open a DXF file no matter from where the dimensions are big and visible and i dont have to keep resizing or putting new dimensions with bigger sizes

thanks

Hi,

It depends ...

  • If you _OPEN a DXF-file you have the dimension styles defined, if you need other dimension styles you need to create them or import them (e.g. via DesignCenter)
  • If you create a new dwg-file based on a template where you have defined your  dimension styles, then you can _INSERT the DXF into your new drawing and so you have your dimension styles.

Hi,

I don't know what you are doing, so I can't tell you if you are doing something wrong...

You can create a screencast (>>>free download<<<) and show us the video together with the file(s) you are using.
