Importing a .csv file into Autocad 2017 - Geotechnical Module

Hello,

So I have entered the data from boring logs into the excel files (saved as .csv files) attached below. When trying to import the .csv file into the Geotechnical Module, the first file, Field Geological Descriptions.csv is scanned and shows no warnings. When the second file, Location Details.csv, is scanned (at the same time as the first file) I receive one warning stating that the Legend Code header is not recognized. I was confused by this because it is typed exactly how it should be per the help document found on Autodesk when looking through information regarding the Geotechnical Module.

In the file below (Location Details.csv) I have removed that column which caused a warning, and when then running the two files through the scanner in the Geotechnical Module, I recieve no errors and it is shown that both files are valid.

Continuing through the Geotechnical Module, information is displayed in the Location Selection tab, and then following that the Preparation section in the tab steps is skipped and then the software rests on the Plan section with the only available option being to cancel the progress.

I looked at the help for this exact problem on Autodesk and implemented all of the steps that were recommended, and still the same issue.

I didn't know if anyone else has run into this issue and possibly has a more technical solution that I could implement to get the boring holes to display correctly from the .csv files?

Thank you, and

Thank you in advance for your help.

This post is appropriate for the Civil3D forum, not this plain AutoCAD one.

Perhaps a moderator will move it for you.

Hi Terry,

Thank you for pointing that out. I have since moved the post to the appropriate forum, and hope to possibly hear back from someone soon.

Thanks
