Import error when importing rhino 3dm file into Autocad 2017 or 2018

Hi im having problems trying to import a Rhinocad (*.3dm) file.  The error I get is "File not found".  Ive tried importing it 3 different ways from 3 different file location, Thumb drive, Network drive and local drive.  The file is 2.7gb and confidential so I cant share it unfortunately, any thoughts on it?  I've never worked with Rhino before so have no idea where to start.

That message may also simply mean your 3dm file is corrupt.

Yeah I was wondering if that might be the case.  Just my luck I guess.  Thanks for the reply.
