Import Bentley Microstation font into AutoCad

I have a user that needs to import an RSC font into AutoCad 2017. The user needs to make edits to a file that was orginally created in Microstation. Is this possible?

yes its possible..

When you save a DGN file to DWG, the fonts used in the file are converted to .shx files.

however the issue is on the version.

It might be necessary to explicitly specify the font output folder when saving your DGN to DWG format from within MicroStation, in order for it to successfully convert your fonts to SHX files.
