Images on tool pallet not found

I have a drawing with images of different road signs on a netwotk drive. I have created a tool pallet from those images. I have exported them to a shared folder, and then imported them back into my tool pallet and created a pallet group. When I start a new drawing and try to add an image it says (see attached screenshot) . it cannot be found.

If I open the drawing with the signs, then I can insert the sign image.

I think this is a path issue? 

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it is.

1. Right-click a tool and select Specify Image.
2. In the Select Image File dialog box, locate and select the required image file.
3. Click Open to assign the new image.

 

Update the file path in Tool Palette Properties for the image to its current location.

1. Right-click on the missing image in the Tool Palette.
2. Click Properties.
3. Select the path in Source file.
4. Click on the box to the right of the field.
5. Browse to the new file path.
6. Click OK.

Include the drawing folder for the current location of the file in the AutoCAD Options.

1. On the command line type OPTIONS then enter.
2. In the 'File' tab open the tree for the 'Support File Search Paths' and 'Add' then 'Browse' to the tool palette file location.
3. Then in the 'File' tab open tree for 'Tool Palette File Location' and 'Add' then 'Browse' to the tool palette file location.
4. Click 'Apply' then 'Close'.

Note:  If the tool palettes are still not working after adding the file paths use the CUSTOMIZE command and move the tool palettes from the 'Palettes' section to the 'Palette Groups' section.

Other options

• Check for differences between the saved Source file path and the actual path, then update the folder names or path accordingly.
• Install the latest updates available. See: Install updates, add-ons, and enhancements.

Note: If multiple tools in a palette need to be updated to a specific source path, they can all be changed at the same time by pressing and holding the CTRL and SHIFT keys while selecting the desired tools.
