Image will not show when changing perspective while in 3D

As the title says. I have an image on a plane in 3D modelling. When I change perspective on the image it will not show in the model or layout spaces. Any help? In the attached screenshots you can see the image appears when viewing from 'top view' but not when a side perspective is selected

You can’t put an image like that using plain vanilla AutoCAD.

If you’re using Civil3D, and I don’t think you are, then you can create a ‘surface’ instead of using a solid, then follow that up with ‘draping an image’ on that newly created surface.

If no Civil3D, then no surface, and if no surface then no draping function.

Your only alternative is to ‘render’ the surface(s). You can render in vanilla AutoCAD using a material or an image, but you can’t drape.

The title of your post should be 'How to re RENDER a surface.'
