IGNORE SNAP TO HATCH OBJECTS

Hi ,

I have been playing around with the align parameter for some blocks I have. My issue is when the align tool snaps to Hatch patterns. i have gone into options>drafting and selected 'ignore hatch objects' which works for regular hatches but not for hatches within blocks.

I there is a hatch within a block, the align tool will snap to this.

I was wondering if there is a workaround without having to explode blocks

Hi,

Right, it works as expected, but not for align parameter actions of dynamic blocks.

For me, it is a kind of Bug and should be fixed.

Explode Blockreferences?? Wow.

Why not just turn off your running object snaps? Toggle [F3] for 2D and [F4] for 3D osnaps.
