Icons not found in cui editor

I want to use the 3 icons of the UCSICON command in 2013. they appear in the drop down menu as i show, but the CUI editor icon editor doesn't have them.

Does someone know how to copy a part of an icon and then insert it into an other? the simple editor the CUI provides doesn't enable that, it can only save whole icons.

Hi @Karol-Or!

I believe the best course of action here would be to:

1- Export the icon image as .bmp file,

2- Edit it as you like (copy, paste, edit...) in any free image editing software (like Gimp or Irfanview), t

3- Import it back into AutoCAD's icon editor.

Edit Icon Image.JPG

Irfanview can Extract icons from EXE/DLL/ICLs.

UCSICON command is system variable, So I have been looked for the icon.

But There is no the icon in CUI.

I guess the reason why is the system variable.

Maybe you should make it yourself.

See this Link.

Small image pixel is 16 x 16

Large image pixel is 32 x 32

Hi @Karol-Or!

I couldn't see the icons there also. Anyway, for now I think a much faster workaround would be:

1- Hit the actual drop down button.

2- Hit the PrtScr button on the keyboard.

3- Paste in IrfanView & Crop each of the icons you want (select a rectangle then press Ctrl+C; Ctrl+N; Ctrl+V) (Best use 32x32 pixel crop )

4- Save as PNG with 0 compression @ (& disable transparency if you want or not - as you prefer, but with transparency the icon will take the color of the current Autocad theme // (Irfanview can use the main window color for transparency)

5- Rename the resulting file to ***.bmp

6- Import the created image in the Autocad icon editor as shown in my previous post..
