block updated in the base file.

However the sheets that xref from that base is not reflecting the changes.

Is there a hotkey to update all the blocks that coming from the base file also update in the sheets?

You have to update the block definition in the destination/working drawing. Use INSERT, find the block in the xref (Library tab) right-click, Redefine.

You could start with a blank drawing (no blocks), then INSERT the drawing with the edited blocks into it and explode. The blocks in the inserted drawing would be the current definition *if* they didn't exist in the destination drawing before INSERTing the block drawing.

In your working drawing, if no blocks with the same name exist as objects, but their definition is still in the drawing, use PURGE to remove the definition so that the edited block definition will be current on INSERT or however you get them in there.

This is what templates and tool palettes are for. Think ahead to future work, get it right (blocks, layers, all configuration), then discard (PURGE) the out-of-date block definitions so that you don't go through this with every new drawing project. There is no hot key for globally updating blocks.

Can you provide more details about your workflow? The blocks should be updated when the XREF is reloaded or the referencing file is reopened.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

BLOCK CREATED IN THE BASE.

XREF INTO THE SHEET.

BLOCK EDITED IN THE BASE.

XREF RELOAD.

BLOCK IN THE SHEET IS NOT UPDATED WITH THE CHANGES THAT MADE IN THE BASE.

*I HAVE TO REINSERT THE BLOCK TO UPDATE WITH THE CHANGES, WHICH I DONT WANT TO DO THAT. CUZ THERE IS A LOT OF BLOCKS. I REMEMBER THERE WAS A FUCNTION THAT CAN SYNC WITH ALL THE UPDATES.... IT IS LIKE ATTSYNC OR STH... I FORGET..

Please don't type in all caps. It looks like you are shouting.

That sequence should work. Make sure you save the base file where the edited block is, then <xref> <reload> should work.
Tested.
