How to update annotative multileader contents without affecting positions in other viewports?

Hello everyone!

I am facing a problem with annotative multileader.

Every time I update the contents of annotative multileader text, the positions of that multileader

in other viewports are moved to current position. May I know how to prevent it?

I attached the screenshots here. Currently I am using Auto Cad 2021.

Thanks,

Yan

Hi,

Thanks for your CAD dwg file . when i open your files :

  • Why you're using Multileader object since you don't have use the leader itself [ you just used the text ] ?
  • There is Nothing weird in your drawing and all texts are stable in their places !!! try to make numbers as seen below to know what is happenings .

Hi ,

Thanks for reply.

So sorry that I could not explained clearly in words.

Please look into attached video.

I understand that I can use Multiline text instead and there is no issue like this but I have certain reason to stick to Multileader as text if I know how to solve this position matter.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Yan

Ahhh ... Now it's clear !! 🙂

Click on below image to see that this happen because of another annotation scale called SSO1 which have another position than 1/250 . So just change your VP annotation scale to 1/250 and every thing will be fine .

Hi ,

Thank you so much for your time and afford to help,

but it did not solve the problem I am facing.

Multileaders are fine and stay its positions until the contents are being edited as I showed in video.

And I need to use the different annotative scale for respective viewports (such as SS01 for layout SS01).

Anyway I will use multiline text instead as you suggested in earlier post.

Thanks a lot.
