How to turn off gradient in hatches

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am using Autocad 2016

I inadvertently hit some button that caused the workspace to change but figured out how to get back

the classic workspace without the tangle of ribbons. However, the bhatch command is acting strange

and now only wants to work with gradients. I have my choice of 9 gradients but I don't see an option for

turning the **** thing off.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

>> without the tangle of ribbons

Well, these "tangle of ribbons" would make that easy, simply select the hatch to get the hatch ribbon automatically represented .. there you can select the other hatch type. 😉

However, for existing hatches and without ribbon you can start command _HATCHEDIT to change existing hatches, in the dialog change the tab from "Gradient" to "Hatch" and select your pattern.

When you call command _BHATCH can you see the option "Settings" in the command line?
Use that option and you'll get the same dialog as shown above for _HATCHEDIT to select a different pattern.
