How to set default layer quickly from reference line

Hi everyone,

Could you please help to guide me how to set default layer quickly from reference line ?

While drawing, I have an drew line and I want to use its layer for next line will be draw.

Now I have to check its layer and choice the layer manually for next line.

Could you please help to guide which efficient way to do that?
