How to rotate an object to tangent a circle?

eng.jpgjust to be clear, here's a screenshot. Need to rotate an object(without deformation) through 0,0 rotation axis so that it will tangent circle (any one) Thanks!

Hi and Welcome to AutoDesk Forum,

 

what a great question.. all the answer exist in PARAMETRIC values and i will explain it for you step by step :

- convert your object (red lines in the image) to block.

- use GcFix from parametric to fix the center (NO.1) you have to be sure that when you pick the point that a cross mark will appear at the center #1.

- use GcTangent to get what you need by selecting the circle first then your block).

- if you do it right and as you see from the above image it will be done.

Now if you want to delete previous two parametric you can by DelConstraint command.
