how to remove a virus from my file

hi there,

it seems that my dwg file has a virus.

all the items in the drawing keep duplicating themselfs (on the same location).

so i have few lines/objects/dimmention exc, one on top of the other.

even items inside blocks.

makes it difiicult to eraze stuff, impossible to see or print hidden lines proprely.

is there a program/command that can fix this bug?

You can also try to RECOVER your drawing.

Close your "affected" drawing. While still inside AutoCAD Type RECOVER.

Select the affected drawing and let this run. It will say if you have errors.

You can also do an AUDIT while inside the drawing. Depending on drawing size these both could take a while. Sometimes they seem to be locked up but most cases it is not. 

Another option is to start a new drawing. SAVEAS into the same folder your working in so XREFs won't lose their locations.

Click Model Space and EDIT COPY the all parts details etc. Now open the new drawing and in Model Space click EDIT: Paste to Original Coordinates. 

Then do the same for your Paper Space. Got to the affected drawing and Click Paper Space and copy the Drawing Border, View Ports, Detail Callouts... ALL of your Paper Space.  Now open the new drawing and in Paper Space click EDIT: Paste to Original Coordinates. 

All should work well now.
