How to match properties on mtext with leaders

I did a test with one mtext size and color to another mtext size and color.  Both created separately using MTEXT command.

I did a Match Properties and one another and it works.

Now see attached file.  Different story on MTEXT made from a QLEADER command.

The Match Properties will not work.

WHY?

No wise guys.  How do you fix this so I can match properties on mtext attached to a leader.  I do not want to explode the mtext.

Your text style and color is defined in your mleader style

Seems to work OK for me using (vanilla) AutoCAD2015

Are all the options checked in MATCHPROP settings?

If still no luck, upload a sample drawing with two different Leaders/Mleaders/Qleaders or whatever you're trying to match.

YES ALL CHECKED.

I'M BRINGING IN ANOTHER DRAWING (S) INTO A DRAWING WORKING FILE TRYING TO MATCH PROPERTIES WITH OTHER TEXT WITH LEADERS TO A NEW TEXT WITH LEADERS.  AND NOTHING.

I HADE TO SET MY MLEADER OR QLEADER SETTING AS ANNOTATION AS "NONE".  AND NOW IT WORKS.

That makes sense.

Please mark your own post as being the solution.  Thanks

To all Thanks.

This is the solution I found that fixed my problem.

I now can match properties with a multileader mtext with any text.

See attached.

Thanks a lot.  I forgot about the mleaderstyle settings.  It's been at least 10 years since I ever looked at that for settings.
