How to make crossing the default in the trim command, AutoCAD 2021...

For those of us who have been using AutoCAD for many years, that new default is awful.  And what's worse is that, not only do I have to type C to get what I want, I have to do it every...single...time I trim objects, even within the same command session!  Has anyone figured out a workaround for this?  And why ever would Autodesk not make it a part of the options, so we can choose what our default is?

Hi,

if i understand you well ... you can pick your mouse in a certain point and go left for crossing option mode , isn't it ?

Hi,

Yes I understand your struggle. It takes some time to get used to new things🙂

If you want trim act the way it used to be in the prior version then type in the command "TRIMEXTENDMODE" and set it to "0". That will fix that.

That works too. But, i used to Autocad 2007. So, i feel like changing the TRIMEXTENDMODE is one time headache. Thanks for the tips.
