How to Delete objetcs inside and outside a boundary

in the file below i have a gride placed over my drawing... these are the roof rafters, i would like to delete all objetcs between the green line gaps and outside the outline of the drawing is there any quick method to doing so ? 

 

In the file i did it to show you what i mean

TRIM.  If you had a Polyline outline around the whole thing, there are routines you can Search for to Trim everything outside a selected Polyline, and also to Erase everything completely outside one, to get your Lines that are beyond to the left and right.  But because of all the different green lines inside, I doubt any routine could be made to figure out what portions of white lines to take out inside, and Trimming manually may be the only choice.  But you can use the Fence option, at least, to catch whole groups of white Lines at once, rather than picking each individually.

you can use TRIM or EXTRIM.but my advice for you is to use a Hatch Pattern instead of drawing lines as you did.you can get the same result faster than this way.

or draw an array of short rafters inside the roof areas and EXTEND to fit.
