How to connect 3D surfaces

How to connect 3D surfaces

Hi,

I am fairly new to Civil3D and I wanted to know how to connect two 3D tin surfaces together to create a 3D box. I have already made two tin surfaces that are connected from point groups but I can't figure out how to "enclose" the box. Is this something Civil3D can do?

Thanks!

Yes you can in Civil3D.  How you do it depends upon the orientation of the surfaces to one another.

Share a dwg if possible or further describe or screenshot your existing surfaces and I'll try to help further.

Hi,

Sorry, Civil 3D can't build vertical surfaces, so you can't create something like a 3D-Box.

But if you upload a dwg-file and describe us what's your goal we might find workarounds.

Attached are two dwg files. The one labeled "Old Image" is my end goal for what I want. The dwg labeled "New Image" is what I am working on. I have made the "top" surfaces already but I want to be able to create a 3D box.
