How do you connect a shape made from lines?

Heya
I made a shape out of seperate lines that I need to connect to make 1 solid shape/block. 
in 2d wireframe it looks right, but I can't use join to connect the lines, just wondering how I'm supposed to do it.

Make solid out of that requires LOFT, EXTRUDE, etc.....

Make it a block? use BLOCK command.
