How do I turn off blue circle 'nodes'??

Hi, I have these random blue circles that keep appearing on my drawings. They act as points to object snap to. Even when I turn OSNAP off they are still there and there is really no fighting them!

They make it literally impossible to get a drawing right sometimes. Does anyone know how I can turn them off? I cant find anything about them online ๐Ÿ˜ž

Are you talking about this?

Looking at the tooltip, I presume your 3DObject snap is enabled.

Do you want to know why this isn't clearly evident? Because you do not have that button enabled in your status bar. Several buttons are not visible by default, but the setting these invisible buttons control can be enabled, causing problems, as evident here.

Click the button shown below, and turn on ALL of the available status bar buttons. Then you'll find the one for 3DObject Snap and you can turn that off.

For some reason turning off the '3D object snap' in the Customization Menu (in the bottle right corner of the screen) did not work for me. I went into the actual snap settings and had to uncheck the "3D Object Snap On" box under the 3D Object Snap tab. Not sure why one would work, and another one wouldn't, but I wanted to throw that out there in case anyone was experiencing a similar issue.

Cheers
