How do I Stop Autocad from Selecting Multiple Cells When Clicking in a Table

Hello All,

I am having an issue when I try to click into a single cell  in a table, it seems to Lasso multiple cells instead which I am finding extremely frustrating. I have attached a brief screen recording to show the issue I am having. I have no idea what would cause behavior like this.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks all who looked.

Apparently, I turned on SNAPMODE which causes the behavior shown within tables.

I don't think you accidentally turned Snapmode on. I had this start happening to me randomly and luckily found your issue post. I did not turn this on, and using the command fixed the issue. I think it's a bug in their system. For those who have this happen. you need to type in SNAPMODE, hit [Enter] and then type 0, hit [Enter].

Snap mode is very easy to accidentally turn off and on though unintentionally since it is bound to CTRL+B. When I am getting a bit copy and paste happy, I have hit CTRL+B when I meant to hit CTRL+V.

By typing out SNAPMODE and setting the system variable to 0, you are turning it off.

In any case, glad you figured it out!
