How do I align Objects with a circle?

Hello, I would like to align this lettering to the circle. It is and object, not a text. I'm aiming for something like shown on the picture with the car wheel. I've tried arc aligned text, but it doesn't work. The character spacing is too big and even when I type in the value of 0, the spacing still has some minimal value (too big for my needs). Is there any way to do it?

If you want to try arc text again, you can adjust your start angle and your end angle to close the spacing. This still may not give you the exact look you want but it may get you closer.

Something to note is that the second image has some transformations happening with the lettering. There is a significant difference in length between the top and bottom of the letters in your desired picture. Rough estimates says there is a 12% difference in the lengths between the bottom of the E and the Top.

To achieve something similar, you would have to manipulate your letters

Better bet may be for you to do what @TheCADnoob  started to do which is to attach the tire jpg into Autocad dwg and then trace over the letters using arcs, plines and etc to get a more exact match

Yeah, I thought about that, but I'm doing it because I'm making a stencil for my specific wheels. The wheels and tires on the picture are different from mine, if I trace it like this it might not align with the ones I have.

Thank you, I will try to do that letter by letter. Is there any option in CAD to bend lines? Then I could (letter by letter, but still) just align them with the circle that I have.

There is but it may not be what you are thinking. You can convert your lines to polylines using PEDIT. Once its a poly line you can convert it to an arc or add vertices to shape the line.

Are you familiar with Photoshop or Gimp?

In Gimp I would use the cage tool to deform the letters but would first create a background the contains two concnetric arcs and radial lines as guides for the final shapes of the letters.  From the deformed image you can create splines in AutoCAD by tracng over the image.

Have you tried Slinky Text? It is a program by Lee Mac Programming, and might give you a start.

With arc aligned text, the individual characters are spaced evenly, giving a mono font appearance.

@280531 ,

That font style is "Antique Olive Nord Italic" an Open Type Font (OTF) which is NOT supported in AutoCAD and can only be used IF there is a True Type (TTF) version.

Try these suggestions:
