As the title says, whenever I open a file, my hidden lines change from dashed to solid. I have found that if I edit the line in any way (length, location, etc.) it goes back to dashed. But this only works while I have the file open. If I close it and come back to work on it the next day, my lines are messed up again. Plus, I cannot edit every single hidden line every time I open a file. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? I am new to AutoCAD so this could be a setting I need to change. It is worth noting that for the first couple months of using AutoCAD I never experienced this issue, it is a new thing. Another note, I am using 2025.

Update the graphics card to use the latest driver from the card maker (AMD, Nvidia, Intel, etc.) Type in GFXDX12 and set that to zero (0), then close and reopen your AutoCAD based program and retest to see if the issue has gone away
Could be a graphics card compatibility with 2025. At command prompt enter GfxDx12 and 0. Then close and restart AutoCAD. If no change then enter GraphicsConfig command and changed 2D Display Settings to another option. If still no good go back to GraphicsConfig and this time disable Hardware Acceleration.
