Help with batch printing to pdf

Hi All,

I need to batch print multiple cad drawings for a catalogue with around 8 drawings per page but i am really struggling to achieve this and only able to have 1 drawing per page.

Help!!!

Many thanks in advance.

@tharka3 There is nothing automatic in AutoCAD that is going to place 8-DWG files' content on a single page as you show in your image.

You'll need to open one of your template files, XREF the 8-DWG files into it in modelspace, create a layout with the page parameters you want then create a viewport for each XREF like in your image. Then SAVEAS that template file to always keep this available.

Maybe use Windows printer Microsoft Print to PDF:

Open & print each drawing using one of the built-in pdf printers like: Dwg To Pdf.pc3

Then you'll have to use an app either the free / ones or the paid ones like Adobe Acrobat to merge all the individual PDFs into a multipage PDF file. Then open the multi-page PDF with Adobe Acrobat and in the Print window there's an option to select Multiple > Custom > 2 by 4 to get the output of 8 pages / sheet layout you desire.
