Help with a line type please - Demo line type

I created two line types that will be used to depict demo items.

The lightweight version uses a text style called demo that has a romans font font assign

The Heavy weight Demo  Line use the standard font, which in my case has MS Sansserif assigned.

The spacing in the line file is setup to accommodate the assigned fonts (I think :))

QUESTION

Can someone show me how to get rid of the dots in the line?

The dots are problematic when I use the demo line between two parallel line, the dots are visible.

You won't. But you can play with geometry that characters will be placed right above dots..
