help - autocad locking up on opening drawings - stuck at initializing plot settings

like title says, appreciate some help, autocad (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) is locking up on opening drawings now - all get stuck at initializing plot settings, tried recover, but no luck.   have to either wait like an hour or force close.   uninstalled and even reinstalled acad, tried different versions, all have same problem.   thanks

Log into your PC as an all new user with admin rights (involve your IT if that is a requirement) and see if the issue persists.

And remind everyone here what is your exact OS please, and what changed on your PC recently, as something did for sure.

I would try first going to Windows Control Panel > Autodesk Plotter Manager

Remove any PC3 files that may be suspicious

Then  Windows Control Panel > Autodesk Plot Style Manager

Remove any CTB or STB files that may be suspicious

Does it happen with all drawings?

When you first open AutoCAD to the default drawing1 from your default template does it happen?

There was no acceptance by @rbarnard on any of the solutions posted here. Have you tried reading through this thread and trying the solutions yourself?
