What Autodesk Product and Version are you using?

Is your current Windows 7 OS and Autodesk Product fully up-to-date / updated?

Id resetting 2014 doesn't clear up the problem, try a repair reinstall and answer yes to replace files (back up all customizations first): you have a bad or corrupt installation if this is not an inherit C3D problem as noted by your peers over in that forum.

did the repair reinstall and still got the error, but this morning I logged in, started c3d and the previous error did not surface. Kind of weird but I'm running so that must be good
