having issues with grips in the block editor in AutoCAD 2018

I've been having issues with grips in the block editor in AutoCAD 2018 (all hotfixes and service pack installed). Some of the grips aren't attached to the objects and are "ungripable". It happens with all objects, not just polylines or lines. I don't have time to reinstall or reset to default at the moment and am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they've resolved it

hello, can you try to reset settings to default your autocad if you don't have any customization in your autocad program and see if helps. thanks
