Hatching Help: Backout and setting boundaries

Hello Autodesk community,

I am working on a restroom project and I'm trying to use hatching to display my floor tile.

When i try to hatch within the rooms, my hatch will either acknowledge the boundaries of certain fixtures or hatch right over them.

I am wondering why this may happen and how it can be avoided.

Also, I'm wondering if there is a way to backout hatching that i have created that i dont want.

Is there a way to manipulate the boundaries or to just drag and draw a rectangle that may remove hatching in a desired area.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Justin

The HATCH command pop-up, if expanded, top-left, has an island detection visual settings you can chose from. Make sure you are being consistent throughout all of your drawings.

Also ensure all of your objects are on the same plane.
