External Reference Dialogue Window

I am missing the external references dialogue window, or I believe the external references palette as I've seen in some places.

When I click on the REFERENCES arrow, nothing happens.  When I type in EXTERNALREFERENCES, nothing happens.  When I start to type the command and the abbreviaton command window pops up saving me having to type the entire word, and I just click their link, and...   nothing happens.

I tried the alt+spacebar, then moving the offscreen window, but no window pops up for me to move.  This is very aggravating, as this is a big part of my job.  I've searched several forums, but no-one seems to have this same problem.  Can you help?  I need the answer quickly, work is backing up!!

Thanks,

Mark

Problem solved...?

I couldn't find the external reference palette/dialogue box, even though I'd tried all the suggestions I'd found, including the use of a second monitor, and having to use alt+spacebar to locate and move it back to the correct window.  Nothing worked.  Bearing this in mind, I shut down my monitors to just using 1 screen (I currently use 3), and hey presto!  The missing dialogue box!!

Thanks for all the help utilised from other members with similar problems, and thanks to TheCADnoob for getting back to me so quickly!
