Hatching and 3D issues

Hello,

So I've gone through some threads and I can't find a solution.

I viewed this; https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/hatch-freezes-autocad-2016/td-p/5616371

but I'm still getting issues.

I think my problem is that I import 3D blocks into the drawing and it struggles to constrain to a plane. I use the FLATTEN and FLATSHOT commecnds but they don't fix my issue.

Is there a way to be able to constrain everything to a 2D plane and get rid off the 3D aspect. I realise every time I import a 3D block it cuases issues so, i just need some easy fix that allows me to keep everything on the one plane.

Thanks,

David

@braicodavid i think you need to explode 3D blocks before you can flatten the objects. or post the file so we can check. thanks
