Hatch selection

Hi. Im using AutoCAD LT 2016. I select a hatch and then pick or select areas/object. Once entered and I wish to repeat that hatch style the tab comes back to the default style, not the one I previously selected. Can I change a setting so I dont have to keep resetting the hatch for every selection?

Before resetting you can make a copy of the configuration, so if you do not see any improvements you can re-import your previous configuration,

does your previous preparation for hatch finished successfully and you see your selected hatch? make sure that happened.

you can get your previous hatch settings by using ADDSELECTED command.
