im having an issue with the AutoCAD hatch where i select outer outline to hatch and then select the inner lines to detect the inner hatch, but in some area the select object detects the hatch but still does not remove hatch in that area.
i have attached the cad file if you could understand my explanation.
i have checked that all lines are closed polyline, but i still couldn't get it to work.
will be grateful if anyone could help.

This is how I got it to work.

Select the Hatch to grip it

The ribbon changes to Hatch Editor

Under Options panel click the down arrow

Then on the drop down menu change Outer Island Detection to Normal

The Hatch updates to the desired results:

This can also be done using the the Hatch Dialog box

Select the Hatch

Right mouse click and select from the cursor menu Hatch Edit

Make sure the section on the right can be seen by expanding the dialog box by clicking on the lower right hand corner arrow

Then under Islands instead of Outer select Normal

Click the Preview button to see the hatch updated:

Hi and welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

Click on below image to see how it's simply created. Just pick your cursor inside the wall.

Thanks for your input, i appreciate it but the file was a simple example area, in the actual one there are a lot of lines within the wall that separates it into multiple areas, making the area not so simple.
