Hatch Area Not Showing

I have 2023 AutoCAD, and when I create a hatch, the area is not showing in properties. The geometry is all clean, and when I select the polyline it says it is closed. My coworker opened the same file in 2021 AutoCAD and he was able to see the areas of hatches just fine. Anyone know how to get the areas to show in properties again?

Is the hatch annotative?
You may be looking at a different scale that is not set to be visible.

Nope. None of the hatches are annotative.

So you can see the hatch, but the area / cumulative square unit AREA is not showing?
Or you cannot see the hatch at all?

I can see the hatch. The scale is good, the elevation of all hatches is at zero so there is no issue with them being skewed three dimensionally. Everything is at it normally is, but today for some reason it refuses to show me the area. It is behaving in other files as well, files where everything was working just fine yesterday.

Assuming you have already looked at the from this link:

Confirm you have the latest update:

• AutoCAD 2023 Updates

Consider posting the drawing and a snip of your properties when hatch is selected.

@jberryC8ZAM What does "not showing in PROPERTIES" mean exactly? What is shown/listed instead? You never quite say or show more, so I'm going to guess one or more of these might be your fix https://www.cadlinecommunity.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/207469905-AutoCAD-2016-Properties-Palette-blank...

Here is a photo showing my issue. I have the hatch selected and the cell in my properties manager that normally tells me the area of the hatch is no longer showing me.

EDIT: please share your DWG portion with that in it when you get a chance if that was not of any use.

I had an issue similar to this the other day, I just re-created the boundary, pretty sure i just copied the geometry that was there to the right by x amount, exploded, overkilled and joined and moved it back by x amount. 

still not sure what the issue was but i've always had problems with hatches.

Type ABOUT at the command line and provide a screenshot, to confirm the 2023.1.3 Update.

As previously mentioned, try a REPAIR and Restart the computer.
