Hatch and auto zoom extents

Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed that every time I hatch an object in AutoCAD, it automatically zooms to extents. It’s kind of annoying. Is there a way to stop this from happening or any workaround to disable it? Thanks in advance!

Has this behavior happened before?

How are you invoking the Hatch command?

Are you running any special addons that may be doing this?

What version of AutoCAD are you running?

Enter About command, do a screenshot and share that here?

Yeah, this happened to me before too. I just kept zooming back in after hatching. I usually just use the basic HATCH command with a double pattern and 1 spacing—nothing fancy, no special addons. I'm using the 2025 version. I’ll send a snapshot video to show what I mean.

Have you installed 2025.1.1 update?

try this in AutoCAD:

GFXDX12

Close & restart AutoCAD

Test Hatch command again to see if that solves the problem.
