Grip Stretching a rectangle results in 199.9999 instead of exact 200

Hi everyone,

First, I created a rectangle with dimensions 100 × 100. Then I used grip stretch on right edge and specified a distance of 100 units using the keyboard (not the mouse).

I expected the rectangle’s length to become exactly 200, but instead AutoCAD reports it as 199.9999.

Why does this happen, and how can I force the rectangle to end up at an exact integer value (200) after stretching?

Did you perhaps not have ORTHO mode turned on when you stretched it?

... or leave a running osnap on and unintentionally clicked the object? We all do what you are trying to do all day @apajsj

Setting ORTHOMODE ON resolved the issue. Thanks!
