Grid lines don't show with rotated grids and snapping to grid lines

Hi!

I'm coming across an issue where grid lines won't display when I change my SNAPANG to something other than 0. Not even 90 or 180 work. I need to change the snap and grid settings to display the dotted grid, and the dots aren't ideal for my purposes. Has anybody come across this and found a solution?

I've tried this in both 2015 and 2016 with the same results.

Also, I was wondering if there's a way, while using the grid mode with ORTHO on and an angled grid, to snap to the grid lines as opposed to the grid corners. In my situation, I can't change my UCS to match the grid, I need to angle the grid, and would like it to snap line to line along a horizontal path as opposed to my cursor snapping to the corners, meaning the line doesn't snap to the gridline between the two corners in the angled grid, it snaps directly below or above my cursor (in the middle of the grid square).

Any tips are appreciated.

Thanks,

Amanda

Hi,

When SNAPANG is set to a value other than 0, the lined grid will not display, this is CAD issue.
