We have two new computers. One is a Dell Precision 7720 (laptop workstation) w/ Intel Xeon processor, 64 GB RAM, and Nvidia P5000 (16GB) graphics card & SSD drives. The other has the same specs it's just a desktop. These should be more than enough to handle our operations, but for some reason the performance is poor. If we turn on hardware acceleration the graphics performance is glitchy, and when moving around in AutoCAD it often leaves pixelated distortions. I've installed the latest drivers, I've set up an AutoCAD profile thru the NVIDIA Control Panel... still running poorly in my opinion. Our old stations had half the power and GPU and ran better. There has to be something we're missing.
Are there any settings we can check within AutoCAD and/or the system to get better performance?
