Hi everyone ! I have a simple question. Is there any way to calculate fill/cut volumes from grading lines (polylines with elevation) in Autocad? (not Civil3D). Thanks !

Hi,

can you show a sample of these polylines (for existing and finished ground)?

Hi Alfred ! I have attached and example, with the grading polylines and a rectangle that represents a finish floor single dwelling. I would need to calculate the ammount of fill/cut (or import/export) for this situation. Is there any way with Autocad?. Thank you.

Hi,

please follow this video, I hope that is what you are looking for.

This shows just one side, extrude your rectangle upwards to get the other volume.

PS: this drawing was done in Civil 3D, why not using it's functions to do that? So much easier!
