Ghost image when moving tool boxes or big objects

Hi! First of all, sorry for my bad English, I will try to do my best, hope you guys understand me. I'm having this strange behavior in AutoCAD 2015 with Service Pack installed: Ghost image when moving tool boxes or big objects. Please check the attached video to understand the problem. I already try a lot of solutions with no successful.

I understand that this could be a Graphics problem, but I already try to uncheck or check every option related to graphics in AutoCAD, and I moved to an external video card from the onboard one just to check if this problem get resolved. And for some time the problem go away, but after reinstalling AutoCAD because some commands stop working (Its seems that a lot of people have random problems/bugs with AutoCAD and reinstalling get rid of them, so I occasionally do this when something strange happened), the problem appear again, and I really don't know what to do. I made an exhaustive search in the forum with no luck.
I try running AutoCAD in DirectX 9 and 11 (with the Intel onboard video card, not the external one because is old and only support DirectX 9). No luck.
The PC is very new, I would not like to buy a new one just for this problem. Is annoying, and is making the work very stressed.
Another problem I have is that the cursor disappear, and you have to minimize the autocad window and restore it.

Right now I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64bits edition, but I'm planning to install Windows 7 Pro 64bits edition just for testing purpose. I would not like to run Windows 7 forever because it will not take advantage of the newest hardware in this PC, and is and old OS not official supported in my company (they already move to Windows 10). I would like to resolve this problem without reinstalling the OS if its possible.

Onboard video card: Intel HD Graphics 630.
External video card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT.

Both cards and drivers meets the recommended requirement for AutoCAD 2015.

I will really appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance.

P.S: I try AutoCAD 2017, same problem, no luck. 😞

Hi,

>> Ghost image when moving tool boxes or big objects

It is known for the latest updates of Windows 10 when moving toolbars ... but it's not a daily job to move toolbars, isn't it`?

It should not be an issue for big objects (when using real graphic cards, which an Intel HD is not).

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Yes this symptom should be limited to moving toolbars in AutoCAD.

If this behavior just atarted, you might try to rollback the last set of Windows 10 updates to see if that corrects the issue.

Also, AutoCAD 2015 is not designed for Windows 10 so you might actually find that it runs more reliably in Windows 7.

Your Nvidia card is rather old and the last published driver is nearly two years old.   If the rest of your computer is new and modern then it might be worth investigating a new graphics card to improve performance.
